CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

This role initially reports directly to the Chief Investment Officer and will take responsibility for accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting, ensuring financials are aligned with business strategy.

 

The position includes being involved across a broad range of areas including accounting, payroll management, tax, treasury and commercial finance functions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of group & subsidiary accounting and reporting operations, ensuring accuracy of book-keeping and timely delivery of financial statements and tax reporting requirements across the business
  • Setup and ownership of process to onboard and integrate new brands and entities/subsidiaries into accounting system and process
  • Assist in the consolidated audit
  • Manage corporate allocations and transfer pricing
  • Enhance account reconciliation process, drive deadlines, enhance deliverables as they pertain to the month-end close and financial statement preparation process
  • Drive continued development and improvement of a flexible accounting and reporting system to enable the business to gain important visibility of key metrics vs budget targets
  • Assist in financial and accounting & tax due diligence of M&A acquisition targets
  • Liaise with external firms for audit, payroll, accounting and tax matters
  • Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures, as well as identify new policies and areas of improvement

As a key member of CINCHONA’s Finance team, you will be working very closely with the business to support prospective and exciting brand acquisitions.  You will comfortable working in a highly autonomous environment and able to work independently.  You are comfortable working at speed and have demonstrated this in a start-up or scaling business.

 

About you

  • Key member of the finance team supporting the financial due diligence process of prospective acquisition targets.
  • Lead the post-close financial integration of acquired businesses from both a reporting and operating perspective to facilitate a successful and efficient onboarding that maximizes the synergies of acquired assets.
  • Develop and document key business processes and policies; assist in enhancing existing best practices.
  • Build a dynamic operating model and playbook which can be tailored to specific acquisitions to successfully address key deal issues.

Key Requirements

  • 5-8 years of work experience – preferably including transaction services / M&A advisory work (in a leadership role).
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience and demonstrated success in a combination of accounting/reporting, financial due diligence, and/or post-merger integration/consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong financial acumen – the ability to independently evaluate financial statements, reporting environments, and finance org structures to deliver relevant and timely insight in support of business decisions and successful integrations.

We are looking for a PPC Ninja – that is an experienced performance marketing professional to onboard and scale Amazon PPC accounts! You’ll be responsible for owning newly acquired brands and have a key role in driving the long term success of brands at CINCHONA.

Responsibilities:

• Building PPC campaign structures that will enable us to quickly scale accounts and allow us to grow

• Gathering data and ensuring that historical campaign performance is interrogated.


• You should be comfortable to quickly identifying key performance drivers within their PPC structure and pivot as needed.

 

• Serving as your own project manager. You will be dealing with multiple brands, each with their own timelines and nuances.

 

• You must be highly organised and able to operate with high level of autonomy.


• You should be an expert at multi-tasking and able to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.

 

• Keeping key stakeholders informed on the status of PPC onboarding. This will include partners in marketing and brand ops.

REMOTE ROLE

 

Being part of the Brand Builder team at CINCHONA, you will play an active role in supporting daily marketing activities such as: social media, marketing campaigns, website updates, producing newsletters as well as the creation of marketing materials across multiple brands.  This is a super exciting role with exciting development.

 

You will currently be used to working in a highly autonomous environment and able to work independently.  You are comfortable working at speed and have a keen interest in start-ups.

Core Responsibilities

  • Developing & supporting online marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging content for social channels including Instagram, Facebook & Pinterest, Twitter.
  • (Assist) Creating and planning the design of email marketing newsletters.
  • Run the analysis of email marketing campaigns.
  • Content updates across the main website (Shopify).
  • Creation & production of marketing materials for social media (stills, video), web content, leaflets, blogs, case studies & general marketing copy.

The Junior Brand Builder will take ownership of a portfolio of CINCHONA’s brands and be in charge of growing and bringing them to the next level. This role is in a key position to building the success of the company, by growing and optimising all aspects of the business on their portfolio on and off of Amazon.

This includes: Optimising the Amazon Listings, focusing on CRO, Developing Ecommerce and Growth Marketing. The role will report into our Vice President of Marketing. An understanding of numbers, growth marketing and willingness to roll up your sleeves is a must.

Success will be based on intimate knowledge of the listings on Amazon, the opportunity to test and grow the brands and also take them to the next level off of Amazon.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

● Daily checks of Amazon listings for customer satisfaction, inventory concerns and any issues with the listings themselves. Keeping an eye on the best seller badge and the competition.

● Analyse key performance indicators of Amazon ASIN level data (sales, conversation rate, page views, costs, etc.) to determine why certain products are trending up or down, be able to articulate observations and propose strategies to troubleshoot problems.

● Analyse key performance indicators of portfolio and propose strategies to troubleshoot problems

● Develop strategies to increase sales for example; reduce costs and drive conversion rate of acquired products including: price optimization, PPC, packaging/inserts, coupons and deals, customer communications, creative, changing package dimensions, subscribe and save, removing unprofitable products, etc.

● Start to develop strategies for ‘off Amazon’ growth through Ecommerce, Ebay, Etsy and wholesale.
